Logo & Identity System

With their 10-year anniversary on the horizon and plans to expand to a second location, the owner of Emerge Modern Salon decided it was the perfect time to upgrade their brand image from the outdated look she had originally created herself when the salon first opened.

For the new logo design, our goal was to strike a balance between upscale and approachability. We opted for a clean, modern typeface that creates a refined, elegant and sophisticated look, even with the lengthy salon name. We added a stylized “E” as a logomark to capture the salon’s uniqueness and creativity. This was designed to be used in concert with the new type treatment of their name or as a stand-alone graphic element such as the way we incorporated it into the new website design. A simple grey and gold color palette was selected to bring the logo design to life.
