United Way

125th Anniversary

We received a call from Mile High United Way’s marketing manager asking Bianca e Nero to take on a very challenging yet pivotal project—their 125th anniversary. Mile High United Way wanted to accomplish three major goals: thank the many people and organizations who help them through donations of money, time and support; communicate the organization’s revamped story and mission, which is mostly unknown to the public at large; and celebrate the organization’s 125 years of changing lives.

This was not an easy task considering the limited resources and that the media buy relied entirely on donated placement. We took on the challenge and crafted a campaign that accomplished all of their goals. Every ad or piece of communications spotlights a specific corporation, organization or individual who has made a major contribution and connects them with a direct result of United Way’s efforts. This approach enabled us to show the combined power that Mile High United Way and these groups have in making positive changes for people and communities.

The campaign has sparked corporate and individual donations, which are up considerably since it hit the streets. Overall awareness about the specifics of what Mile High United Way does has increased too.
